Hey, I'm Skyler & this is a little about me!
Why I do what I do:
I'm completely head over heels in love with what God has created. My heart and soul is so fulfilled by capturing every glimmer of light that shines on the earth. I get so overjoyed to see smiles on peoples faces!
My hobbies:
Some may say I'm a doer of all things.. From a young age I started singing in my Church praise band and have ever since. I've always had a love for music and praising God will always be my favorite outlet to do so. My family also started a race team when I was younger and ever since mechanics and cars have been some thing that fills my cup.
Things I love:
Oh, where do I start?! I love God more than the breath in my lungs, My husband and my family. I have 2 cats and a dog whom I also adore more than anything! I have always loved creating things. Whether it was calligraphy, drawing, journaling or recording my own music I have never stopped creating. I am incredibly blessed to have many opportunities to do so.
WHAT GOT ME STARTED?
I grew up in Church and was there 3-4 times a week. I met a lot of people along the way many of which I consider family now. One of these people stood out most to me. Sarah Bell was my youth pastors wife and she is now someone I call my sister. She was incredibly obedient to God and was an amazing teacher and role model. I had always been a fan of angles and lines and that quickly grew my love of photography. I worked with Sarah assisting her from the age of 15 and quickly became her go to second shooter. I second shot with Sarah's second camera body until I finally bought my own camera. I am forever grateful to God for placing people in my path and using them to show me the way in which he wants me to go. I will continue to follow in that path and strive to be aligned with the plan set before me. I have no doubt this is a huge part of it and I cannot wait to see where he grows it!
